Could help in Berlin: Astra Kulturhaus & Bi Nuu open the doors for homeless people
It’s cold, like every year in Berlin. In Hamburg, the cold kills already 2 people in this year. Mostly the shelters for homeless people in Berlin are completely full. Two Berliner clubs offer now their help.
The Astra Kulturhaus and Bi Nuu offer 40 sleeping places for homeless people.
Berliner Kältehilfe can offer about 900 places for homeless people in the city.
Occupancy rates for emergency overnight stay in Berlin were already around 75 percent.
